The 'CALPIU Research Network' will be the 'CALPIU Research Center' as from August 1, 2009: The network has been granted DKK 7 million by the Danish Council for Independent Research | Humanities. This sum is expected to fund CALPIU’s activities as a research center over a period of three years.

Now CALPIU can continue on a whole new basis for at least another three years after the 2007 network grant expires in July 2009 – so the new grant is a nice send-off for the CALPIU ’08 conference!
